Corruption hides in silence. You break that.

Officials. Agencies. Companies. HOAs. Anyone using a position to do harm. If you saw it, this tip line takes it. Submit anonymously if you need to. Faretta reviews every submission personally.

Why submit here
01

Reviewed by a human.

Every tip. Every time. Not a black hole, not a bot. Ryan opens the file, reads it, and decides what happens next.

02

Pattern-matched.

Your tip is cross-referenced against every other tip in the queue. Themes, parties, jurisdictions, dates. The pattern is the story.

03

Anonymous if you need it.

Flip the toggle. Name, email, phone get stripped server-side before storage. IP and user-agent are hashed for spam filtering only. Never shown. Never sold.

What happens after you submit
  1. 1
    You get a tracking code
The form returns a short code (like F-AB12CD). Save it. If you want to follow up later or send more evidence, reference it.
  2. 2
Faretta AI sorts and scores it
The tip is classified, scored for urgency and public interest, and pattern-matched against every other tip. If it lines up with a thread already in motion, it joins that thread.
  3. 3
    Ryan reviews it personally
You may see it surface in a Legal Spotlight piece, an investigative thread, or a follow-up message (if you left contact info). Names stay redacted unless you said publishing them is OK.

Free to submit. Reviewed in the order received. Paid services skip the line and get focused work. Time-sensitive? See paid services or submit a case intake.

Not a law firm. Ryan is not an attorney. No legal advice. This is a tip line, not a legal hotline. If you need representation, submit through intake or hire a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

Frequently asked

Questions worth answering before you submit.

Will I get in trouble for reporting?+
Whistleblower retaliation is itself unlawful in most jurisdictions. That said, this tip line is not legal protection. If you fear retaliation, use the anonymous toggle and skip contact info entirely. We strip name, email, and phone server-side before storage when anonymous is on. We also don't store raw IP or user-agent — only sha256 hashes used for spam filtering.
What happens to my anonymous tip?+
It lands in public.tips with anonymous=true and no contact fields. Faretta AI classifies and scores it. Ryan personally reviews it. If it's public-interest and you authorized publishing, it may surface in a Legal Spotlight piece with all identifying details redacted. We do not, and cannot, contact you about it.
How long until someone reviews my tip?+
Ryan reviews tips in the order received. Free queue is best-effort. Time-sensitive matters and paid services jump the line — that's how the lights stay on for the free tip line. If the matter is genuinely urgent, see paid services or submit a case intake instead.
Can I add evidence after I already submitted?+
Yes. Save your tracking code, then email Ryan directly at ryan@realryannichols.com with the code in the subject line and your additional documents attached. Don't re-submit the whole tip — that creates duplicate work.
What if I'm not 100% sure my tip is true?+
Submit anyway. Use the confidence slider to mark how sure you are (1 = suspect, 5 = witnessed). Faretta AI weighs confidence as one input among many. A pattern of low-confidence tips about the same subject can still surface a real story.
Will my name appear publicly?+
Never without your written authorization. The "Publishing OK" checkbox only authorizes Faretta to feature the substance of the tip. Names of accusers and submitters stay redacted until you explicitly say otherwise in writing later. Subjects of the tip (officials, agencies named) are not protected by this default — public-interest reporting on official conduct is the whole point.
Is this a law firm? Can Faretta represent me?+
No. Faretta Legal is not a law firm. Ryan Nichols is not an attorney. This is investigative reporting and pro se case help, not representation. If you need representation, hire a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. We can help you organize evidence and a plan of action — that's it.
